I wrote a little something about Saturday's game, but in the light of current events a piece which frames the travails of the City fan within the context of the Nietzschean concept of eternal recurrence seems a little contrary to the national mood. The very fact that tonight's Carling Cup game has been postponed merely serves to underline the fact.
